The Hotel Pagnini is situated in a residential and relatively quiet area near the river Arno. Less than 1 km from the major sights as the Duomo and Ponte Vecchio, the hotel is easily reachable also from the congress center (10-15 minutes walking), the railway station and the shopping area.
from Santa Maria Novella florentine central railway station (400 m. away) You can take a taxi, the bus letter "D", or walk for less than 10 minutes following this itinerary: from inside the train station, with the platforms behind you, take the exit on your right side. Go down the stairs and walk to the right hand for 20 metres, to reach, on your left side, "Via degli Orti Oricellari". Entry this road and continue walking ahead as far as the forth crossroads to turn to the left into "Via Montebello"; there you will see the yellow vertical sign of the Hotel Pagnini at a distance of 50 metres from the corner, on the left side, at the number 40. By Airplane from the A. Vespucci airport in Florence (6 km) Take a taxi or the bus to Santa Maria Novella railway station and then follow the directions from the station above mentioned. from the G. Galilei airport in Pisa (84 km) Take the train or the bus towards the S.M.N. florentine central railway station. By Car From the A1 Motorway - Firenze Sud Exit: Follow directions towards "Firenze centro". At the end of Lungarno del Tempio, there is an obligatory right turn at the traffic lights. Proceed towards piazza Beccaria, then take viale Antonio Gramsci and viale Giacomo Matteotti towards piazza della Libertà . Head onto viale Spartaco Lavagnini, following it around the Fortezza da Basso and drive left hand on Viale Strozzi towards the parking of the Central S.M.N. Railway Station. After the railway underpass, on viale Belfiore, after the traffic-light, turn left onto Via Guido Monaco and then continue straight onto Via Alamanni. Before you reach the railway station, turn right onto Via degli Orti Oricellari. At the traffic light turn right onto Via della Scala and at the next traffic light turn left onto Via Rucellai, and drive straight and turn left at the second onto Via Il Prato. Then make a right onto Via Curtatone, and because you can not turn left onto Via Montebello from there, you shall turn around the block and return onto the same road, Via Curtatone, but other side of the road. So turn around the block: drive to the end of Via Curtatone and turn Left onto Lungarno Vespucci (along the river). At the traffic light turn Left onto Via Melegnano, then Left again onto Borgo Ognissanti. Drive to the end of this road and turn Left onto via Curtatone: Now you turn left onto via Montebello. The hotel is located around 50 metres ahead on the left side, at street number 40. Look out for the yellow and blue Pagnini Hotel sign. Please contact us if you like more informations. From the A1-A11 Motorway - Firenze Nord - Firenze Ovest Exit and from Peretola A.Vespucci Airport: Follow directions towards "Firenze centro". Head to the end of viale Francesco Redi and, at the last traffic light onto viale Belfiore, immediately drive left hand and turn left onto Via Guido Monaco towards the parking of the Central S.M.N. Railway Station. Before you reach the railway station, turn right onto Via degli Orti Oricellari. At the traffic light turn right onto Via della Scala and at the next traffic light turn left onto Via Rucellai, and drive straight and turn left at the second onto Via Il Prato. From the A1 Motorway - Firenze Scandicci Exit and from Freeway from Pisa - Livorno: From the Firenze Scandicci Exit follow directions towards "Firenze centro" and drive for almost 6 Km then towards Ponte della Vittoria (Bridge). Cross over the bridge and turn immediately right onto Lungarno Amerigo Vespucci and turn left onto Viale Fratelli Rosselli. Continue straight ahead for almost 400 metres and turn then right onto Via Il Prato, and drive to the end and turn right then onto Via Curtatone. Because from there you can not turn left onto Via Montebello, you shall turn around the block and return onto the same road, Via Curtatone, but other side of the road. So turn around the block: drive to the end of Via Curtatone and turn Left onto Lungarno Vespucci (along the river).
